What is Republicanism?
After we discuss our brainstorm question and explain the role that Republicanism will have in our country, we will run through a hypothetical activity to help us see the potential issues and problems that the early founders encountered.
In our table groups, students will be asked to create a list of 5 important rules that they would like to have established if they were all to move into an apartment together.
We will then share out our answers into 4 of following categories: Money , Responsibilities, Property, and Other.
After sharing Students will reflect back on their discussions and items and predict 3 problems that they think the early U.S. will have to go through when creating it’s own government for the first time
